WHO:USTA Jr. Team Tennis is for all players ages 18 & under. Players compete against each other in a co-ed league format. Individuals can sign up with their fellow friends and teammates, or join an existing team; also, any adult, parent, coach, or tennis instructor may organize a team. All participants must be USTA members through August 15th.
WHAT:USTA Junior Team Tennis offers juniors a chance to play on a team while developing individual skills. It emphasizes the "practice & play" components of the game. Junior Team Tennis offers match play between teams with progression to District, Section, and National Team Championships.
WHERE:Matches are played at any facility that has at least two tennis courts: schools, park sites, tennis clubs, apartment complexes, etc. A facility may have more than one team.
HOW:Each team will play each other team in a fast-paced scoring system. Teams will have an equal number of home and away matches, and matches will be played at least once a week. Each team must play another team a minimum of three (3) times in order to be considered for advancement to the District playoffs.
